
Mobile App Experience: Oncor Outage Reporter
Texas electric utility Oncor was interested in developing a mobile application that would allow its customers to report electrical and street light outages and track the progress of repairs.
I was hired to develop process flows and wireframe to aid in the development of this mobile app and help facilitate conversations between the Oncor marketing and development teams.

Texas electric utility Oncor was interested in developing a mobile application that would allow its customers to report electrical and street light outages, and to track the progress of repairs.
I developed process flows and wireframes to assist the marketing and governance stakeholders communicate to the internal Oncor development team what they were needing this experience to consist of.
Apple’s Human User Interface Guidelines had just been released and I dove deep into that documentation to outline an experience that drew upon emerging usage patterns that smart phone users were still getting used to.
